If you head two hours north of Rogers via US-169 N, you’ll find the Moose River Connector. This beautiful state forest offers seven miles of Jeep off-road trails, ending at Land O’ Lakes State Forest. If you’re up for a long day of off-roading, the Moose Rover Connector joins with the Moose River Trail for another 29 miles. Keep an eye out for park closures and status updates to be prepared for your adventure.
Just over two hours from Rogers, MN, the popular Spider Lake Trails offers 29 miles of trails throughout Foot Hills State Forest. From smooth and sandy to rough and rocky, the trails are an exciting challenge for your new Jeep SUV! You’ll curve around lakes and ponds, follow ridges, and traverse several hills and slopes throughout the forest. These fun Jeep trails are open year-round, except for specific snowmobile trails.
If you’re looking for ATV or OHM thrills, you’ll find them at Meeker County OHV Park. Located just over an hour west of Rogers, MN via County Road 35 W, the Meeker County OHV Park offers narrow and winding trails. Travel through this 40-acre parcel of woods is particularly beautiful — showcasing oak, elm, ash, and maple trees. There is a convenient youth training area on-site, as well as a shelter and restroom facilities. The Meeker County Park is maintained by Crow River Wheelers and provided by Meeker County.
Starting in Morrison County near Royalton, Soo Line South Trail will take you 27 miles to the Mille Lacs Country border. This converted rail trail is a great choice if you’re craving a day-long scenic route — offering a mix of woods, farmland, and trestle crossings on the Kettle River and Birch Creek. If you’re up for more, the Soo Line South continues another 8.4 miles to Boylston Junction near Superior, WI. Even better, the full trail is accessible to Jeep off-roading!
