Lyndale Market

The Central Minnesota Vegetable Growers Association runs Lyndale Market. Lyndale Market is open daily from 6 AM to 1 PM and is located at 312 East Lyndale Ave N. The organization offers a full list of “What’s In Season?” products that help you to purchase the most delicious produce at a reasonable price. Downtown Market

Although the Downtown Market at Government Center is open seasonally, there are both summer and winter schedules for you to take advantage of. The Downtown Market is open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., which is ideal for customers who live or work in the downtown Minneapolis area. This market is located at 300 South 6th St in the center of town.

Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market

As the first community farmers market in the city of Minneapolis, the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market has a lot to be proud of. Originally, the goal of the organization was to raise funds for the Eastside Food Co-op (EFC). After the EFC opened in 2003, the NEFM became an independent organization focused on feeding the people of Minneapolis high-quality food products straight from farm to table. With a constantly-growing weekend attendance (about 1,500 per week in 2012), the NEFM continues to grow and prosper. In addition to its presence in various market locations around the city, the NEFM has also focused on sustainability and producing zero waste. The organization has also continued to run annual fundraising events and to help its customers celebrate the seasons with the community.
